Customers who have an O2 phone already have the benefit of their Priority Tickets scheme, but for those who also own an iPhone the buying experience is soon to become much simpler. If you don’t have an Apple handset and want one cash in your mobile and use the money to buy one.

One of the many perks of being on O2 is that that you have first chance at grabbing tickets for gig before they go on general release to the masses. Many frequent concert-goers are huge fans of this service because they often get the best seats in the house.

And now the O2 Priority Tickets function is being launched as an iPhone app to make the ticket buying experience even easier.

The free app allows customers to easily view tickets that O2 are offering and then buy them up to 48 hours before they are released to the general public.

In addition to this, the app makes note of the customers preferred artists and venues and notifies them before tickets go on pre-sale.

Jonathan Earle, O2 head of consumer mobile, said: “Priority Tickets is part of the fabric of being an O2 customer. Having launched on the iPhone, we now plan to roll out the app to other platforms including Android and mobile internet.”

Many networks offer loyalty schemes and additional benefits to their customers. Orange have their 2-for-1 Wednesday cinema offer, T-Mobile have their Night In offer in conjunction with Blockbusters and Vodafone will soon be launching their Vodafone VIP.

If you want to switch networks to get added benefits it might be an idea to sell your phone for cash and buy a new one.
