The two companies will now work as Everything Everywhere

The merger between T-Mobile and Orange has been well publicised as of late, and now the companies have announced a new name which will form the umbrella for the two network giants - Everything Everywhere. You may want to sell your old phone for cash if you are ashamed of the name as some people have already stated they are.

The mouthful of a moniker has been criticised for sounding more like a slogan than a name, but the two companies have defended the decision, saying it leaves the company open to a wider range of ventures.

Tom Alexander, the once CEO of Orange UK who now heads up Everything Everywhere said: "Up until a few years ago, mobile was just about voice and text - not now... It's our vision to give our customers instant access to everything everywhere, opening up a world of endless possibilities."

Further to this, an official announcement states: "The company intends to propel itself beyond mobile communications, with a greater focus in developing new revenue streams based on the way customers will use their devices in the future.

"With greater scale, the company intends to develop new revenue streams in adjacent markets, such as mobile advertising and mobile commerce."

If you are not happy with the joint venture between T-Mobile and Orange and don't want to be part of Everything Everywhere why not sell your old phone for cash and switch to another network.
