The London department store will be stocking the swanky phone

If you want to splash out on a brand new phone, why not sell your used handset and buy a Nokia 6700 Gold edition.

The swanky phone, an extravagant alternative to the Nokia 6700 classic, is to be sold through the high-end London department store Harrods through distributor Data Select.

So what’s the difference between the Nokia 6700 Gold edition and the classic version? Well it boasts 20 carrot gold plating and a slim 11.2mm design. Ideal for those who like to show off with a bit of bling.

The Knightsbridge store has set up a bespoke display unit to show off the grand phone to customers, so if anyone happens to be in the West London area it’s worth popping in to have a little look and quite possibly buying it if you have enough money!

George McPherson, group CEO at Data Select, said of the collaboration between the three companies: “Having the 6700 Gold as an exclusive is a testament of our partnership with Nokia. We’re confident it will be a success for Harrods.”

Fashion accessories general merchandise manager at Harrods, Simon Longland added: “Harrods has a global reputation for offering exclusive and luxurious products, and is delighted to be the first retailer to introduce the unique Nokia 6700 Gold edition.”
