If you were one of the early adopters of iPhone 4 and had problems with the handset dropping calls, you were entitled to grab a free bumper case from Apple to try and alleviate the problem instead of selling your phone. For those who haven’t yet got one, you better snap it up quick because the offer is nearing to an end.

“We now know that the iPhone 4 antenna attenuation issue is even smaller than we originally thought. A small percentage of iPhone 4 users need a case, and we want to continue providing them a Bumper case for free. For everyone else, we are discontinuing the free case program on all iPhone 4s sold after September 30, 2010. We are also returning to our normal returns policy for all iPhone 4s sold after September 30. Users experiencing antenna issues should call AppleCare to request a free Bumper case.”

If you haven’t yet got your bumper, you better rush to do so. For those who bought a bumper before the free scheme, you are entitled to get your money back. If you paid on your credit card, the money should have already been refunded. But if you paid cash you will have to take it in store to get your £25 back, so you better get searching for that receipt.

However, if you’re not happy with the iPhone 4, bumper or without, you could always recycle your mobile for cash and buy a phone which suits your needs better.
