It has been reported that Apple will be issuing a new updated version of their iPhone 4 in a few weeks because the initial version was deemed a failure after it refused to work properly. Recycling your mobile might be a good idea if it’s not working how you expected.

When the iPhone 4 was released a few months ago, many customers complained that the handset was dropping calls and not functioning as a phone should do. Apple CEO Steve Jobs said the reason for this was because the phone was not being held in the correct manner. When customers complained further about the unnatural way of cradling the phone as suggested, bumpers were issued protecting the phone, although this detracted from the design of the phone.

However, according to reports a new version which works is soon to be released. Mexican mobile carrier Telcel has stated that after September 30th, an iPhone 4 that does not drop calls is set to be issued. The company’s director, Marco Quatorze said that they will be supplying the new tweaked phones that “do not have the reception malfunction”.

However, the Apple fans who initially rushed out to buy the phone will not be able to swap their phone and are stuck with it unless they sell iPhone for cash and purchase the new model instead. Apple have refused to comment on the rumours, but if it is true we expect many people who adopted to the iPhone 4 straight away will not be happy with the decision.
