A Microsoft representative let the cat out of the bag

The must-have gadget for 2010, Microsoft's Project Natal, is reportedly being released in the final few months of the year. Those who want to get their hands on it may want to trade in their console and buy an Xbox 360 in order to experience it.

Being dubbed as a major game-changer in regards to the videogames industry, the add-on feature allows users to interact with on-screen action by using their entire body. The ingenious piece of engineering will even recognise you as you walk into the room and load up your game profile.

And now, according to a Microsoft representative the wait shouldn't be too much longer. Syed Bilal Tariq, a marketing manager at Microsoft's Saudi Arabia division, hinted that the device will be ready two months before Christmas.

He tells Saudi TV station KSA 2: "So I do have great news to share with everybody. Project Natal will be launched in Saudi Arabia the same time it will be launched in the world. That is going to be somewhere in October."

Tariq goes on to explain that Microsoft "will be in a position to confirm the date after E3, which is in June. But definitely, it is going to be October 2010."

However, a representative for the company based in the U.S. was not so forthcoming with the release date. He said in an email statement: "As we confirmed earlier this year, Project Natal will launch this holiday." He adds that he has "no further details to share at this time."

If you have any old consoles you don't want anymore, sell your gadgets for cash with Mobile Phone Xchange.
