Famous Italian luxury brand, Giorgio Armani teamed up with Samsung Electronics to launch the new smartphone powered by Windows Mobile 6.5. This upcoming product promises to offer cutting edge technology with exclusive design and fashion.
Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ product strategy division, Hong Won-pyo, expressed his excitement about the alliance between the market leaders of different industry and he stated: “Three companies [Samsung Electronics, Giorgio Armani, and Microsoft] which each represent their respective industry have met to create the ultimate smart phone with an innovative design, cutting-edge technology and the most recent software.”
The well – known designer, Giorgio Armani, made a personal appearance at the launch event of the phone and told attendees that he wanted the touchscreen mobile phones to co-ordinate “perfectly with Giorgio Armani suits” and that these phones would be “perfect for today’s managers”.
Microsoft’s CEO, Steve Ballmer, was also present at the event. He thought the phone was "the most fashionable phone he's ever had a chance to talk about."
