Up-grading can be a pain
The problem with up-grading to a new phone is that you have to find a way to transfer all of your pictures onto your new handset, or at least save them somewhere.
But what is the best way to do this?
Take out the card, in theory it's a good idea but something always seems to go wrong and you'll end up losing that one great photo you wanted to keep because it's saved to your device memory.
You could try emailing them to yourself, but this could take a long time, particularly if your current mobile only allows you to attach one photo at a time. Furthermore this is of no use to people that don't have an email enabled phone.
Bluetooth is an option, but I always seem to struggle pairing devices and by the time I've managed to do that you've still got a long wait before all of the files can be transferred.
Fortunately there are now a number of tools available that allow you to share your mobile photos with all types of sites. We've put together below a few of our favourites:
Phozi Simply send your photos to Phozi add graphics and drawings layered on top, then embed them into your social sites. phozi.com
Yahoo! Go Flickr Access all your major Flickr functions through the Yahoo! Go mobile application. Upload, access photos, tag, change privacy, and comment. mobile.yahoo.com
Phlog Easy photo sharing. Send your photos in from your mobile device and it is automatically shared online under your username. phlog.net
MyPhotoAlbum.com Upload photos to your album directly from your phone. myphotoalbum.com
Once you've stored your photos on one of the above sites you can send your old mobile phone to MobilePhoneExchange in return for cash.
