The best phone is not the most expensive one. A lot of people make this mistake when they get to choose their next mobile phone. There is no such thing as a 'best phone', because it differs for every person. Why would you spend a hundred pounds or more on a phone with a camera, while you are not planning on taking pictures at all?

This isn't very hard, but you need to be sure what requirements your mobile phone has to meet. The best way to do this is to make a list of everything you might need your mobile phone for. The next list might help:

Are you planning on making a lot of phone calls, or sending text messages, or both?

How good does this camera have to be?
Do you want your mobile phone to have Bluetooth?
Most modern mobile phones have this, but you might prefer retro mobile phones to modern phones because of their simplicity.
Do you want your mobile phone to be able to run applications?
If yes: Look for smartphones.
If no: Do not look for smartphones.
Do you want your phone to have touch screen?
Touch screen is a big influence to the price
Do you want your phone to have access to internet?

These are just general questions you might want to ask yourself when you are looking for a new mobile phone. There are many more aspects you can use to compare mobile phones, just make sure you know what you need, and don't buy a phone with too many gadgets you are not going to use anyway. It's also wise to read reviews of other people, but keep in mind that they might have set other requirements to their ideal phone.
